And finally my TFiOS journey is complete. My audio book came in today and I’m loading it onto my iPod as I type this.
In the picture are my signed copy (green J-Scribble from my local book store), my unsigned Amazon.ca preorder and the limited edition audiobook box set(six cds, one dvd, four post cards, one The Hectic Glow ticket and one The Hetic Glow wristband)

Psyduck and I have been patiently waiting to open our early shipped copy of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
It’s TFiOS day!P.S. Psyduck couldn’t wait to start reading!
Before and After :]
Sensuality Steve likes the Green J-Scribble.
I recorded a video of me opening my TFiOS and then accidentally deleted it.

Today the sis and I went Hanklerfishing…DOUBLE WIN
There were so many unsigned copies at B&N! I had to get one for the sheer novelty of it.
I also got lucky and found the lone Hanklerfish in a sea of green JScribbles!

Guys. Guys, it’s January 9th and I already got my copy of The Fault In Our Stars.
And guys. Guys, look.
Not only did I get a green authentic J-scribble, but I got a Hanklerfish. I got a purple Hanklerfish. I’m not sure exactly how rare Hanklerfish are statistically - is there a place where nerdfighters can find the statistical rarity of colors/Hanklerfish/Yetis and such? - but I know they’re rare enough for my internal fangirling to be (somewhat) justified.
I’m from a town that’s so rural* that our nearest ”mall” contains less than 15 actual stores because they can’t make enough money here and the nearest probable place for a theoretical nerdfightastic gathering would be three to five miles south.
And I got a Hanklerfish’d TFiOS.
*I know that geography is pretty much irrelevant when preorders were being shipped everywhere, but still.
There were over 300 submissions today, so if you sent in a picture of your TFiOS in its new home, it will likely take a few days before it gets posted.
Please keep sending them in when your books arrive! It’s really lovely seeing where all of these are ending up :)
I’ve been expecting a package (a Mumford and Sons poster my best friend had shipped to my house for Christmas), so I didn’t think much about it when my dad walked in and handed me a box. Upon seeing that it was John Green’s mistakenly shipped The Fault in Our Stars, I promptly-to use a modern phrase-“lost my shit”. There was a great deal of running around my house and screaming uncontrollably. I opened it once to check out John’s signature (and take this picture of said signature), then immediately closed it. Then, I put it up on my shelf with my other John Green books, where it will stay until January 10th—you know, the day it was supposed to be shipped.

***IF YOU HAVE AN UNSIGNED COPY***
John is working on fixing this!
Go here for details

FYI, for any of you who got unsigned copies :)
I am not John - he just knows of this Tumblr and has been promoting it, so I’m not 100% sure. I know before he has mentioned bringing your copy to a bookstore and potentially swapping it out for another. Or perhaps you could email his publisher.
I will publish this in case John has any input.

I know some people already have given their copy of TFiOS a lovely home, but in supporting the original release date I will not be posting any of those pictures until January 10th. Feel free to submit your picture of the book/signature in its lovely new nerdfightastic habitat at that point :)
